Who We Are
As You Read and Write is a team of experienced educators with a passion for making sure kids have equitable access to authentic instruction and high- quality materials in the classroom. With more than 20 years in education, we have developed pathways to give teachers back their agency, helping them own their profession in ways that will address their students' biggest areas of need. We believe in hands-on learning, high expectations, and a growth mindset for students, teachers, administrators, and our communities. We believe every student can learn and every teacher can teach as long as both have access to quality, research-based strategies and materials.
